Learn to Shop Remainders

Curious about how to add remainders to your inventory and help your bottom line?

Erin Matthews of The Last Word in Mt. Airy, Maryland, is a remainder shopper, and will be sharing her experiences with the the logistics of remainder trade shows and ideas for how best to incorporate remainders into your inventory.

Erin recommends that if you have not opened any accounts with remainder dealers, you do so now, before you go shopping for the first time so your trips will be easier. She suggests accounts with at least one of the following: Book Country Clearing House, Book Depot, Powell's Books (related to but no longer part of Powell's in Portland), and/or Texas Bookman. She'll be introducing each of these dealers.
