Ask Me Anything: Newsletters

One of our most popular features at 2025's NVNR Conference was our ASK ME ANYTHING table, and in order to keep these great conversations going year-round, we’ve decided to make it a monthly program! Join our board members for informational sessions designed to answer your questions and provide an open forum for discussing and sharing best practices. Each session will focus on areas of bookselling where our board members have particular expertise, ranging from MERCHANDISING and USED BOOKS to HOW TO START A BOOK FESTIVAL. All experience levels are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate. 

For our inaugural program, Nicole Brinkley, who produces OBLONG BOOKS highly successful newsletter program, will be opening the (virtual) floor up to questions about NEWSLETTERS. From questions on best platforms, formatting, building an audience and maintaining engagement, no question is too big or too small.
