There are THREE (3) Publicity Speed Dating events this year!
Wednesday, March 29 9:30am – 4:30pm, IN PERSON at Gotham Comedy Club (208 W. 23rd St, between 7th & 8th Ave, NYC) for NAIBA member bookstores. We are limiting attendance to 25 bookstores. Registration for this event closes on Monday, March 20 so we can prepare the meeting grid.
Booksellers: use the Register Now button on this page and select the Bookseller ticket for this event. The fee is $35
Publishers: use the Register Now button on this page and choose one of the three publisher tickets available (for a full day, morning or afternoon only) The event is free for you.
Wednesday, May 17, 9:30am – 4:30pm VIRTUAL for students of the Event Management Professional Booksellers Certification course.
Booksellers: if you are in the event management class, you will receive separate instructions to register.

Wednesday & Thursday, June 14 & 15, 9:30am – 4:30pm VIRTUAL for bookstore members of NAIBA and SIBA. Thursday afternoon will focus on children's-only bookstores and children's event managers.
Bookseller Beach Retreat
Who: Any bookseller who wants a busman's holiday
What: Tours of two bookstores in beach towns just before the season opens
Where: Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach, DE

Event Managers Strategy Session (May & September)
Please join other NAIBA event staffers on Thursday, May 11 at 1pm to tackle the issue of turning out audience for live events in this not-quite-post-Covid-era. Covid closures turned our jobs upside down, and we'e all still searching for the new right-side-up. Attendees must be current member of NAIBA. Owners Retreat (Virtual)

Check in, share strategies, ask questions, and take a few deep breaths together! This event is for store owners only and will happen over Zoom. NAIBA's 2023 pick of the list and editor buzz sessions have been rebranded as NAIBA Book Buzz, and take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10am. In each approximately one-hour event, you will hear from three different publishers and/or vendors.
