We have a block of rooms at the Admiral on Baltimore (302-227-1300) and say you are with NAIBA. The rate is $142.12 which includes tax and fees.

Monday, May 6 Day 1 in Bethany Beach, DE
(Parking in town is free and open)
11am –Meet at Bethany Beach Books, 99 Garfield Pkwy, Bethany Beach. Tour of the store.
We will depart at 11:45am for our next step in the beach adventure.
12 noon - Lord's Landscaping & Lord's Mercantile
Meet and hear Amy Hughes, Delaware’s 2024 Small Business Person of the Year, speak about her business, how she has grown it, events she does, and how she works deep inside the community. Ideas from a different small business will spark creative ideas for our bookstores.

1:30pm – Lunch at Hooked Up
A one-minute drive from Lord’s Landscaping, and an hour + time to spend with each other sharing ideas.

2:45pm Afternoon to relax and read on the beach
After lunch, you can enjoy time relaxing and reading on the beach (bring a beach chair).
OR you can visit Bethany Beach Book’s second location that is also the home of their subscription service. The Book Drop, 38017 Fenwick Shoals Blvd, Unit A, Selbyville, DE 19975 It is about 15 minutes from the main store. Amanda Zirn Hudson will be there until 4:30pm to give a tour and description of their subscription service. (20 minutes from the restaurant.)

We will be joined by Ethan Joella, whose new book, The Same Bright Stars, is set in Rehoboth Beach. Joella’s book, Pick a Little Hope, was a Read with Jenna selection.
Tuesday, May 7 Day 2 in Rehoboth Beach
(Breakfast is on your own, or with whomever you’ve befriended at the meeting!)

10am – Noon. Gathering at the Browseabout Books 133 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE
We will see the incredible array and displays of non-book items in the store, and receive lists of toys/games/gift items that everyone can take with them. The focus will be on displays and merchandising.
